Jet Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Due to Fracture in Windshield
An aircraft ferrying Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an unscheduled landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the plane's windshield, as stated by an announcement which verified that Hegseth was safe.
"The aircraft touched down based on established safety measures and all passengers, such as Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," an official representative commented in a online announcement.
The secretary was coming back from a quick journey to Brussels when the incident occurred.
This event does not mark the first occasion that a US military aircraft transporting a high-ranking official has suffered mechanical issues.
Earlier this year, a US Air Force plane carrying the US Secretary of State to the city in Germany was compelled to head back to Washington after experiencing a mechanical fault.
