Two Individuals Accused Over Heathrow ‘Pepper Spray’ Assault

Formal charges have been brought against two men following a suitcase robbery where a suspected capsaicin spray resulted in harm at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two counts of robbery and two counts of deploying a toxic agent, according to official statements.

These accusations come after an probe of an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Earlier that day, two female travelers had their suitcases taken after exiting a car park lift, police said.

A three-year-old girl was caught up in the incident during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were subsequently released.

The incident – described by police as was not part of a series and deemed non-terroristic – led to disruptions to rail services and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a brief period.
